Accidents happen in war. And Israel is still acting in self defense. I gleefully watched a video today of an Israeli jet taking out a rocket launcher as it was shooting rockets at Isreali cities.
The other day* a person hit a family that was crossing the street. The father of the family that was hit had tried to dart his family across the road when the light was green for the car that hit him. The daughter of the family was killed by the car.
Is the driver innocent? P.S. I would like one of those shiny invitations to ebible beta. * In my imagination.
There's a big difference between "accidents" and the deliberate attacks on civilians Israel has been committing. How many bombs can they drop in public places before we stop dismissing innocent life as "collateral damage"?
Now I want my eBible invite, Dave!!
It might even be the case that Hezbollah was using the base as cover: Canadian General: UN Observer Post Used By Hizballah.
I did not know that Canada had a military. But, to what you said, I am trying to draw a distinction between doing something intentionally and something being an accident. Since Israel is not targeting civilians, any that are killed must therefore be accidental deaths. Hezbollah on the other hand is intentionally attacking civilian areas with rockets. I wonder why anyone thinks that Israel should not try to destroy Hezbollah. If a terrorist group is part of Canada's government, controls the southern border, launches missiles into American cities, raids our border, captures American troops, has a stated policy to wipe out America, ect... what should our response be? But this is getting splintered.
Do you have any idea how many civilians Israel is killing in Lebanon? From the BBC:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5193662.stm: "Twenty-eight Israelis have been killed - including 16 civilians killed by rocket attacks - since the Israeli offensive against Hezbollah militants began last Wednesday." "More than 280 Lebanese - mostly civilians - have been killed in the conflict." How far does this slaughter have to go before you stop believing these are "accidental" deaths? You simply don't kill hundreds of civilians on accident. Israel knows exactly what they're doing. If you're going to condemn killing innocents as terrorism, then at least be consistent about it.
What is your definition of terrorism?

Israel is defending itself from unprovoked ROCKET ATTACKS in their cities!
And by the way, what does the Hezbo uniform look like? Oh yeah, they don't wear uniforms. So how do we REALLY know how many civilians were killed when the terrorists look exactly like civilians, don't wear dogtags, and fire rockets from within civilian areas? Those are the guys responsible for any real civilian deaths.

Imagine Canadian terrorists were sitting in Toronto lobbing missiles into Chicago.
